The Federal Health Department partnered with Ansible to redesign the My QuitBuddy App, which helps people in their journey to quit smoking.
Picking up fellow designer’s wireframes and initial visual design concept, I created a comprehensive high fidelity design that is encouraging and supportive. Hand-drawn elements give the app a friendly and approachable feel. Cravings can be overwhelming so soft, pastel gradients provide users a calming experience. I also increased usability by labelling unfamiliar icons and transitioning to standard and predictable app navigation.
As part of this project, I also built and carried out moderated usability testing on medium-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes.
